Retro photo project “Dachniki”

Retro photo project “Dachniki” – continuation and development of our projects” labor reserves “and”Neighbors”. Its main distinguishing feature is that the project is colored for the first time. We are moving smoothly through the years, and if our past history can be conditionally dated to the beginning of the 40s (labor reserves) and the end of the 40s (Neighbors), the new project-this is the beginning of the 50s, when the magazine “Ogonek” began to print on their pages color photos with a characteristic color separation and style. We were inspired by these pictures. This project involved a much larger number of characters, respectively, and the palette of images has become wider and brighter. All costumes and props were rented at the Mosfilm Studio, where everything can be found in huge workshops. The camera fed – 2 and the radio, for example, were in working order. Of course, it would be up to the end conceptually if the project was shot on film by original cameras of those times. To such heights of reconstruction, we have not yet reached. The project was shot on a digital camera, but the subsequent processing combines both digital and analog – manual on printed on paper photos. The project was filmed in the holiday village “Berezki” Solnechnogorsk district near Moscow.
